I can't speak in too much detail about what I've worked on at Canva or the specific % uplift to MAU & ARR we saw from changes I worked on, but will acknowledge a few larger changes I worked on that are accessible to the public.
Droptober 2024
For the last couple of years we have two big feature launch events, one of which is Droptober. I worked on the design of the animated home page banner and the personalised 'what's new' page, as well as overseeing the end to end user flows from logged out landing page to user's trying a feature.

misc
- A personalised variant of the downgrade flow that had a really positive impact on reducing churn from pro subscriptions. It got some love on linkedin.
- Optimised login and sign up flows to reduce friction for returning users and reduce the number of duplicate accounts being created, leading to significant uplift on MAU, including the account switcher feature.
